Jan Birger Akerhaugen

Jan Birger Akerhaugen is a singer-songwriter, and guitarist from Telemark, Norway. He began his musical journey at the age of ten, and has been writing and performing ever since. In recent years, Jan Birger has worked closely with Anne Fagermo, and together they've just completed their first album. Jan Birger has also been a key member of the bands Akkerhaugen Raid, and Ni Liv, contributing to a remarkable 25 albums throughout his career. In addition to his collaborations, Jan Birger has released several solo projects, including the albums «Ta Sommeren Tilbake» and «Bittersøt», showcasing his ability to blend heartfelt lyrics with captivating melodies.
