Barry Hebert

Originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. Barry was an original member of the Basin Brothers Band and toured across the U.S. and Canada. The band's first album on the Flying Fish Records Label was nominated for a Grammy. After moving to Baton Rouge, Louisiana, Barry began playing in several bands where he met other local songwriters and he became actively involved in the songwriting community. Barry co-founded an annual Songwriter Retreat that is typically attended by 40 to 50 songwriters. Barry performs around the Gulf Coast, playing festivals in Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, and Alabama. Barry has had the opportunity to open shows for legendary songwriters including Guy Clark, Carlene Carter, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Paul Thorn, Chris Knight, Marcia Ball, Bill Kirchen, to name a few. In addition to performing, Barry is a strong advocate for songwriters and is a regional coordinator for the Nashville Songwriters Association International (NSAI).

Steve Judice

Steve Judice is an award winning songwriter from Lafayette, LA with six albums of original music to his credit. He and Barry Hebert are co-founders of the Peyton Wilson Memorial Songwriters Retreat which annually draws 40-50 regional songwriters for a weekend of writing and performing original songs.He has shared the stage with songwriting legends including Guy Clark, Billy Joe Shaver and Rodney Crowell.
