Will Coppage
Mississippi Delta native, Will Coppage, is known for reenergizing the rural sounds of Delta blues, Texas honky tonk, Kentucky bluegrass, Appalachian folk and Southern rock through his original music to create his sound, “Ya’ll Music.” His lyrics steer emotions from bitter tragedy to celebration, keeping his audiences dancing and entertained all night long. Coppage, a USAF Veteran, has performed his music all over the world. Following his father’s footsteps, he took up bass and piano at an early age before switching to guitar in 2001 to form North Carolina’s, Willie & Me. Coppage departed W&M in 2008 to focus on the craft of songwriting by completing both a BFA and MFA in Creative Writing/Poetry. He performed on banjo and resonator with the Delta String Band, a MS roots ensemble until Summer 2023. Building a reputation of a songwriter and high energy performer, in 2024, Coppage began a heavy touring across the South. He currently resides in Greenville, MS with his wife of 15 years, 9 year old daughter, a dog named Townes, and a cat named Leroy. Coppage is currently in the studio finishing his first solo EP, which is planned to be released late 2024.
